red sorghumchim right?my eng teacher recommended this book by some person called Mo Yan
(no offence but it sounds like some brand of itch relief cream or smth)
sorghum , according to Vanessa is some green grain . and the title is probably called red sorghum because there was a war in the sorghum fields and blood shed was abundant?
lols my guess la (after reading the first 16 pages)
oh myy its only the 16th page and there were quite a few parts which were super crude la! and i spotted one f word hawhaw.
there was one part which described how some sherpard boy was pissing furiously . walao eh. i was like shocked to see such crudeness in a supposedly glamourous looking book.
ohohoh still got one part about some bare-assed boy or smth (yeah im serious, that word was inside) and sumore the cover page say what :
" Mo Yan deserves a place in world literature. His voice will find its way into the heart of the reader, just as Kundera and Garcia Marquez have"
does describing crude stuff get u a place in world literature ? COOL i should write that kinda stuff in my essays and one day i will become FAMOUS!!!!
and i will finally achieve my very far fetched goal of achieving
complete glam-ositynever ever judge a book by its cover. seriously.
todae i had a severe,
severe stomach ache.. pain like what la.i took some personality test and it said that i was a popular sanguine
whatever that means.
im sposed to have/be:

enthusiastic and expressive
cheerful and bubbly
able to make frens easily
envied by others
a people -lover
exciting
one who thrives on compliments
creative and colourful
thats all for the strengths of being a popular sanguine
but my stomach is killing me so much that i will have to stop here and take a rest.
